Here we hope to provide you with some help & info for using this site, ofcourse, if you can't sort out the problem feel free to ask us directly, by or any of the other means on our contacts page.


PHOTO ORDERING PROBLEMS

I N F O : A maximum of 10 photos can be ordered at once. They will be sent as Embedded pictures in a HTML formatted email, with a maximum of 5 per email (so if you ordered more than 5, you will receive 2 emails, with 5 in the first, and the rest in the second email). This is the default method, if the PLAIN TEXT checkbox is the ticked, then they are sent as normal attachments to a Plain text message (5 Max per email, as before), plain text emails are more likely to get through, but to see the photos you have to open each attachment.

I didn't receive anything when I ordered my photo:
You should at least receive an email from the site:

  • check that your email service allows attachments (JPEG images), if not, check that it notifies you that it has blocked the email. In this case, you may have to use to another address, such as one from a Hotmail account.
  • Check that your email service allows HTML formatted emails, if not try ticking the 'PLAIN TEXT' check box on the Photo Order page that will send a plain text email, with the photo as an attachment

I got an email but no photo:

  • Check that your email service allows attachments (JPEGS images), through, it might be blocking the attachment, but still sending the email through, you may need to use another mail service, or another email address (such as a Hotmail account).
  • The attachment wasn't downloaded in its entirety, try ordering again
  • The full sized photo may not be available on the Nightlife Online site, send us an email and let us know the name of the photo (NB: This will be something like: 'cht08120205645.jpg'.)

Can I get photos that are NO LONGER DISPLAYED on the site:
Definately, we keep all the photos we take on file, just not ON-LINE. To get a photo not available on the site email us with:

  • The approximate date of when the photo was taken
  • The Venue / Event at which it was taken.

How do I save my photo:

  • Once you have received your photo email, the photo is stored on your computer (in your email program). To save the photo to a more specific place, you should be able right-click it, and choose 'save as' or select 'save attachments' from the top menus

When I tick a checkbox to include a photo in my order,nothing happens:

  • You can only order 10 photos at once, make sure you not already chosen 10, if so, uncheck one.

Can I still order photos without giving my mobile number:

  • Absolutely, all you need to get a photo is to put in your email address, only enter your mobile number if you want to receive info about that venue/event from time to time.
